    Product Description

    The Hi-Tech Lamps part number JR24V50WSP12/CG-U is a 50 watt (50W), 24 volt (24V) MR16 reflector halogen lamp made by Ushio. The 24 volt lighting systems use half the current (amperage) than 12 volt systems. This allows higher wattage loads and up to twice as many lamps on a longer lighting system. The 24 volt systems are less prone to voltage drop over longer wires and connections which results in more consistent brightness and color. It utilizes a high quality multilayer titanium oxide coating process, with results that are much more consistent and durable than standard dichroic coatings, ensuring reflector coatings do not crack or peel under the stress of high temperatures and maintain color from lamp to lamp and throughout the life of the lamp. This lamp has maximum overall length of 45mm (1.78in) and it has a cover glass. The average lifetime is 4000 hours. This lamp has a color temperature of 2950 Kelvin (2950K), and has an output of approximately 7000 candelas (7000cd). This lamp is also known as Ushio JR24V-50W/SP12/FG and 1001125.
